The Western Region of Portugal, where is located the Farm, is a fertile region wedged between the Atlantic Ocean and the mountainous  Montejunto; and is an area of intense light, mild climate in all seasons of the year and where the coastline and field will connect.

The proximity to Lisbon and strategic links to other major centers shape the growth of this region and modernity.

Archaeological sites, prehistoric caves, Castro's Copper Age or Roman Villages, together with Arab castles, aqueducts, Medieval churches and monasteries, specially the group of Torres Vedras lines fortifications, assumed paramount importance in defending Lisbon at the time the Napoleonic wars with France.

Incidentally, the Farm is located nearby where the famous Battle of Vimeiro took part, and just recently where found the remaining bullets of the struggle, when farmers where planting their lands and fields.

The Sea´s Gastronomy (excellent "nurseries"), restaurants, and the influence of culture in diverse convent sweets (eggs pastry, beans pastry), the Craft and rents are major reasons of interest.
 
The West is today a promising destination for Golf and also one of the major wine regions of Portugal and the world.

Specifically, leaving the Farm´s location, which is near Vimeiro´s Spas, (the sea is only 2.5 Km away), besides the beautiful sandy beaches and clear water, you also find imposing cliffs, or scarps and sovereign sites of beauty.

Heading north of the beaches closest to the Farm (Porto Novo, Santa Rita and Santa Cruz)it can be found a countless number of Blue Flag beaches such as Port Dinheiro, Ribamar, White Sand, S. Bernardino, Peniche, Baleal, and more to the North part the Nazareth and Figueira da Foz beaches already in the region over the center. In the South you will also find beautiful beaches such as Ericeira, and in the Center  Sintra and Cascais beaches, near Lisbon.

This privileged location allows, only a day or two, to know a large and one of the most important of Portugal, since the capital Lisbon is only 35 minutes by freeway.

The highways A8 (Lisbon - Leiria) and A15 (Óbidos-Santarém-A1), make it extremely easy and pleasant to access the Farm.

In this region, lovers of nature or sports or even those who appreciate fun, will find everything they need: clean beaches to rest or practice Surf, mountains and very beautiful grove for outdoor walks; Dining in fabulous restaurants; locations suitable for practice of various sports, including Nautical, Golf and Riding; Bars and Clubs for night lovers.
